Growth Mindset: Mantra

For my mantra, I chose a quote by Franklin D. Roosevelt: "a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor." This quote is important to me because it reminds me that there's a silver lining to every challenge I face in life. Every struggle will make me smarter, more resilient, and more courageous as long as I don't let it overpower me, so this quote encourages me to face difficulties head-on. I don't think about this quote very much even though I like it, but maybe having it in my head as a "mantra" will help with that.
